...And Wiser Too!

Yesterday was my super birthday (a whopping 22!) which was a thrilling day as any birthday should be. It started off with an almost heart attack, as I was lying in bed and heard the front door close. Yikes! As I timidly went downstairs fearing the unknown, I was happily surprised with balloons streamers and birthday signs decorating my living room, with a scrumptious birthday breakfast bagel and cream cheese awaiting me on the chair courtesy of a super big sister. I'm yet to get my birthday package from my mother, because as my dad said, "It wouldn't be a real birthday if you actually got your package on time. " However, I was able to celebrate with lots of fun activities! A work out video in the morning, and lots and LOTS of unpacking more boxes upstairs filled with clothes for which we have no dressers to call home.

Once Tyler got home we took Bugs over to Jamie and Ammon's who offered to watch her while we went out for dinner at the Macaroni Grill. (Which was splendid!) We then made a short trip to the mall where Tyler spent his time enjoying the benches and the watching the evening shoppers while I shopped, and a quick trip to Coldstone to redeem my free birthday ice cream treat. :) Then at the end of the day when we went to collect our Bug dear, as we knocked on the door suddenly the lights went out and a candle lit treat made it's way to the door while Jamie, Ammon & Emberly started singing "Happy Birthday." Jamie was super enough to make our favorite Cookie Monster dessert, which Emmy waited all day for and ate with a super party hat on! (Pictures will come later!) Wahoo for Jamie!

All in all a good day, only 364 days til the next one! Yay for being a whopping 22! :)
