for you buggers.

Okay, so I'm not so good at updating my blog that super often. But I've got two crazy kids and sometimes I forget to even take pictures of things that they do. (Sorry Logan...you don't have nearly as many pictures as Kendalynn did.) So for you people who bug me about it, I'll try and add pictures more often. Because apparently after you have children, no one particularly cares to hear about you or see you anymore, they just want your kids.

So since it takes way more effort to upload pictures to this thing cause my computer and blog don't like each other, I will once again add a link to some pictures I put on facebook. I took Kendalynn into the backyard today and just followed her around (as she followed the dog around) and took pictures of her randomly. I didn't stage any, just played along. So here's a link for you people.

2 posts in one day. lucky people you.

Okay, so Christmas and all that may have been almost a month ago, but I just now figured out how I can post pictures to my blog from my computer. I have to make each of them smaller first and then it usually works. So here we go, I'll leave out the mumbling and just put up some pictures.

Before Christmas we got to see Kara & Ryan when they came in town for the reception.

Kendalynn is especially fond of Ryan. She kept asking him to "come" and she'd make him crawl under the piano with her to play with toys.

For Christmas we went to Bentonville, Arkansas! My sister and her husband (and brand new wee baby Ainsley) live there, since both of them work for Walmart. My parents flew there along with my brother Topher, and so we figured since it was only about 10.5 hours, and Aldi pays for Tyler's car and gas no matter where we take it, it was basically a free trip for us. Fun times were definitely had. And in true Fischer style, there was plenty of yummy food.

a happy christmas Logan w/ his "1st christmas" pj.s (ainsley had matching ones.)

Tyler and kids with their Christmas pjs.

Tyler and his present from my parents. Superly awesome.

Carrie got Duben and Topher (and herself) mugs with their names etched on them.

At first this was about as much as we saw of Topher when he opened a present.

Ainsley's first Christmas present.

Lip gloss from our stockings.

My mom found some wanna be Harry Potter nasty beans. There are like, 12 different colors. Each color has a good one (like peach) and then a bad one (like vomit) that look exactly the same. So cool.

And it even snowed so we had a white Christmas. :) Awesomely awesome.

too bad I don't have any pictures of our 5 course meal on Christmas day that left us all feeling incredibly full. Wow.

perfection with a wiggly tail

So...if I was to make a list of all the things the perfect dog would be, it would go something like this...

1. doesn't bother my kids in the slightest. in fact, almost ignores them completely. (even when toys are being piled on them while sleeping, eyes are being poked, and "wake up" is being yelled at them while sleeping...)
2. doesn't make any messes in my house.
3. never has any "accidents" in the house.
4. wants my love constantly. (which I'm happy to give.)
5. doesn't bark in house. ever.
6. is so calm and mellow that sometimes I might forget the dog is even there.
7. retreats to a designated blanket for the ENTIRE night while we all sleep.
8. follows me just about everywhere.
9. just down right loves me.

So ya...there are a few other things that might go along with that, but you get the idea. And the greatest part of this story? I have found that dog. That dog is named Cali, and she is on the blanket behind me laying peacefully while Kendalynn yells "wake up" over and over again at her. Tyler and I have been going back and forth about getting a dog because I absolutely love them and he is not the biggest fan. But last week we finally agreed to get one. (yes people, agreed. I did not force him in any way, with a smile on his face he said that as long as I prayed about it and picked the right one he would be okay with it.) Even Tyler has admitted to liking this dog, and our friends are jealous of how awesome she is. She is definitely the dog for us. :)

AWESOMELY AWESOME IN EVERY WAY!
