it's at it again

Well once again my blog will no longer let me post pictures. This time I think I might have a good idea of what the problem is, so we'll see what I can do to fix it this time around. But in the meantime, I posted pictures on my facebook of all the crazy happenings around here.

So thus far life is going good with both of these crazy kids. Logan is starting to be a little bit more of a fussy baby, but I'm starting to get a better idea of what it is he's unhappy about. He's doing really good through the night, and the other night he slept for 6 hours which was WONDERFUL. Kendalynn is doing...okay. She is going through a splendid phase of always wanting to take the blanket off Logan while he's sleeping. And then she'll rush over to him again and try to pick him up really fast before I notice. Luckily, she's never been successful, or even made him cry so that's good. A few times she's attempted to sit on him, and even step on him, but again, luckily it always happens when I'm already right there. She also seems to be getting worse about listening to what I tell her (especially when it comes to leaving Logan alone) so hopefully soon I'll figure out how to move past that cause it's rather frustrating at times. But oh well I guess, it's what comes with the job and I'll figure the only thing I can do is to do my best in the meantime to help her learn!

But anyway...I must be off to protect Logan and feed them both so they'll sleep so I can sleep. Last night Logan did okay...we went to bed at 2 which is really late because he decided to be wide awake last night. He then woke up at 6 to eat (still 4 hours, not terrible) and luckily one ate for about 25 minutes before going to sleep again. Sadly, Kendalynn woke up around 7 (normally she wakes up around 9) and instead of trying to coax her into going back to sleep I figured I'd just bring her in our bed to sleep instead which I never do. And this morning reminded me of why I never do. Kendalynn tends to think of our bed as a sort of "fun" zone or something. Rather than ever attempting to sleep in our bed, she just gets really excited and wants to play. So I tried to sleep a little more while getting kicked in the stomach, hit in the face, sat on, and countless other "fun" things instead. Who needs sleep anyways...it's overrated.

Here is a link that should work to take you to my pictures on facebook. A few of them are repeats, but my kids are cute so you can look at the pictures again. :)

Sounds like fun times. Jared picked Caleb up the day we brought him home. So you are good to not let it yet. Please let me know if you find out how to make kids listen, I would love to know. I don't think they listen until they move out of the house.
