So over the weekend we've randomly talked together about all the things that have happened over these last 5 years. How many times we've moved (11 times), the wards we've been in, (7 wards), how we've added 2 crazy kids and are about to add a 3rd. We graduated college (doing the last 2 semesters starting with a 3 week old baby), and Tyler got an awesome job and is doing AMAZING at his job. We bought our first house which we LOVE (going on 2 years at the end of this month, thanks Uncle Ron!) and just a few weeks ago had to buy our first car. (2007 Toyota Sequoia which we also LOVE.) We even have a dog who Tyler pretty much detests, but because he loves me (and she's pretty much the perfect dog) he puts up with her and even pets her...every few months for about 15 seconds. (and then usually kicks her away. Ha!)
Like most people I imagine, we've had rough times, but now we can hardly remember them. But more now than anything we joke all the time about how we're both so weird that there can't possibly be anyone else out there that we could have married and got along with. :)
We have been blessed more than I would have ever imagined. I think to myself all the time that we may not be living what the world or others would see as the most perfect life, but for us it is perfect. So happy 5 years to my forever weirdo and here's to eternity!
